Executive Chairman, Atar Communications Nig. Ltd, (owners of Liberty TV & FM Radio Stations), Alhaji (Dr.) Ahmed Tijjani Ramalan has urged Nigerians to be steadfast, optimistic, patriotic and peace-loving.
Ramalan, in his New Year message on Sunday, said that 2023 would by the Grace of Almighty Allah herald greater success for the country.
While appealing to politicians to live up to expectations, he promised to offer complimentary hours of airtime on Liberty TV and Radio Stations to Candidates and Stakeholders to deepen the present democratic process leading to the successful conduct of the 2023 Elections.
According to him, a public office should be seen as a clarion call to serve the people, adding that it is imperative to make the security and welfare of the citizens a priority in the agenda of candidates at all levels.
“I felicitate with Nigerians at home and abroad as we celebrate the New Year.
“We must reflect on the previous year in a bid to forge ahead in the new year”.
“We must shun hate speech and actions, political thuggery, violence, divisive utterances and social vices, in order to build a united and prosperous nation”, Ramalan said.
